The Agster chills on the kitchen floor
I thought I would put a picture up of Aggie today instead of focussing on the pups. She’s done a splendid job as a mum. Even though she isn’t so keen to go in and spend a lot of time with them, she pops in for a minute or two at a time to check what’s going on, steal any puppy food that’s to be had, and sniff a few pups.
Aggie joined the rest of the hounds on the morning walk today and, in spite of her extra carriage, managed to plod along at a fair rate. She was keen to get back though and approached the house with a definite spring in her step.
She’s lost a bit of hair and weight since feeding the pups but she’s starting to pick up again now, slowly but surely. It can’t be easy on the body having 8 gremlins chasing you around for milk.
