'Not much room here!'
I just loved this picture from my friend Donna of her latest litter of pups. Look at those 11 pups squashed together. Typical bassets, snuggling up.
It made me think about how bassets are such sensual dogs. They really love to snuggle up and have a cuddle. My Winnie and Tia are snoring away intertwined here in the dog basket as I write.
What do you reckon? Is this a basset thing or a dog thing?

It’s a basset thing, I think. I have been asked that question from other dog lovers. They ask if all basset lovers are as fanatical as me. LOL
That picture is adorable.

Wonderful picture!
And I to think that the snuggle is a basset thing. Whenever Brick has the chance to sleep next to a person or another dog he cuddles upp real close (my sisters golden retriver usually moves away as soon as he think Brick is asleep).
Lovely pic
Looks a lot like Cavaliers – the more the merrier and the closer the better is their life-melodie !!
preston definitely loves to snuggle, too
@ cat, chaps & emma ~ we basset lovers certainly are fanatical, aren’t we?
Defintely a Basset thing. I’ve had three females and they all loved to snuggle. My current Basset, Maggie loves to spoon when she gets in bed.
It’s like having a heating pad on your back. They’re so sweet.
