I have an 11-week-old Bassett Hound (Molly). Training her to use the bathroom outside is not working very well. When she is taken out for a walk she may urinate a couple of times and then when she is brought back in the house she will urinate may just a drop or two every 10 - 20 minutes. Is this common in a puppy?

I have been pulling my hair out until I have just read the above very helpful paragraphs! My 2 year old Bassett Bonnie, is the laziest dog I have ever met! I thought there was something wrong with her as whenever we are out on a walk, she will walk for 5 minutes and lie down for 5 minutes, wagging her tail!! I have to put a lead on her to get her going, my other two, a Daschund Bassett cross and a Jack Russell are way ahead but have to keep running back to tell Bonnie off for being so slow!! Thank you for putting my mind at rest, now I know they are a very slooooowww breed.
