'So when do I get the ice cream?'
I’ve just got back from the vet’s with Bernard and he’s doing very well. Hopefully he won’t have a sore throat now.
The picture was taken just after I put him in the car. He was well enough to say “Hello” to a GSD puppy as we were leaving.
I’m under strict instructions to spoil him for a couple of days and he gets ice cream for supper tonight.
I’d like to thank Eva & Marina at Vallentuna Djurklinik who took great care of Mr B today. If possible I always go to Vallentuna as I’m impressed by their friendly, caring service. If you’re in the Täby or Stockholm region I recommend them to you. It’s a small practice that really puts you and your animals first.
Many thanks to everyone that sent good wishes this morning! Bernard says, “Woof!” in his sonorous tones.

aww, sweet mr bernard. glad he’s doing well after the surgery. preston’s very jealous that bernard gets to have ice cream for dinner
Great to se that Bernard is doing well! I hope that he continues to do so and mend quickly. The ice cream will do wonders Im sure.

Thanks guys! He’s doing well. Aggie is going to be SO jealous when she sees B get vanilla ice cream. But he gets to be the special boy for a day or two so she and the rest of the woofs will have to live with it.
Cornelius had his first lick of ice cream this weekend, and he LOVED it, so I’m sure he would looove to have it for supper! Very pleased to hear that all went well with Bernard!! He’s soo handsome, and I love the photo of Aggie too – Cornelius does the same thing with his lip sometimes and he looks so cheeky and adorable!

The Bernster had ice cream again for breakfast this morning (and a pain killer) and he’s doing really well. He even showed interest in a carrot but we’ll try that this evening.
