Ann-Britt sent some lovely pics of Tilda, who is now 1.5 years old. What a sweet girl! I love the expression on her face. She really reminds me of her Bernard, her father, but with the colouring of Aggie.

We’ve had snow for months and Tia is not amused. Well, she loves rushing through the forest and when it’s minus 12°C it gets a bit much so we keep our walks a little shorter.

I‘ve just read an excellent and cogent overview of bloat. A condition that can affect basset hounds, and something we warn all our puppy buyers about.

Please take ten minutes to read Jennifer Kaiser’s excellent overview of the condition. It’s probably the most nuanced work on bloat I’ve read online yet.

She’s doing very well and weighs in at 28 kg. She’s quite a big girl like her mother, Aggie, but more agile I think.
