So the show season 2009 kicked off for us today. We were at Kista Mässan for the Stockholm Dog Show (Lilla Stockholm). Haven’t been there before as it’s usually at Älvsjö but they’re renovating so we were in Kista. I actually really liked the exhibition centre. It didn’t feel as cramped as usual.
We’re only showing Tia this summer and she was as happy to be out and about as ever. She did okay, getting a 1:a and coming third in her group. Sure, it would have been nice if she’d got a CK but c’est la vie. As far as I’m concerned she walked well although she’s a bit fidgety still when stacking.
It was nice to see lots of familiar faces; of course, we missed a few friends from the show circuit. But I understand that there are more important things to do than go to a dog show on Easter Sunday. Especially as the sun has been shining this weekend. 20°C at Kennel Björkwood this afternoon which is amazing given that it’s still only mid-April.
We’ll be out and about at more shows over the course of the summer. If we didn’t catch you today, we hope to see you soon!
