Aggie is being very lazy. I think it’s the sunshine. It puts her off her walks. She just wants to lie in the sunshine, chewing the grass under the apple tree. The appearance of a carrot or a piece of cheese gets a reaction though. Offer her a treat and she moves like grease lightening.

Don’t get me wrong. I love bassets. I have six of them currently filling my house (three in the kitchen as I write).
