Yes, life is as hectic as ever at Kennel Björkwood. Well, it always is when you have a rag-tag crew of basset hounds on the go.
The pups are doing fine. I would appreciate it if they could manage not to wee at night but other than that they’re learning things like sit and stay and we’re even starting to play “magic mat”.
They might even make an appearance at Jäderfors on May 16th. I’ve signed them up for the Basset Hound show on that day. Here’s hoping it doesn’t snow like last year!!!

Bernard has to have his tonsils out on Monday. The vet seems to think that will help him as he keeps getting an infection in his throat. In the meantime we’re boosting his immune system with aloe vera juice as my vet recommended.
He seems happy enough. Just a bit of irritation in his throat. He tends to clear his throat quite a bit. But he’s happy to go for walks and play around so I think he’s pretty much his usual self.
Winnie and Tia are fine. We’ve got family over from Iceland and they always enjoy finding someone else’s socks to terrorise.
